MSG in National Guard tests EXO and Failzero:

After test firing several weapons with the EXO coating I decided to T & E one of my Beretta 92FS and bolt carrier group for my AR. The coating has exceeded my expectations. As a firearms instructor and tactical trainer I am constantly converting my pistol back and forth between FX marking cartridge barrel and live fire. My Beretta has performed very well in both capacities. The fact that I don't have to pull out an oily rag after each conversion alone, is worth the price. After hundreds of rounds both live and "Simms" I'm completely impressed.

The drop-in FailZero bolt carrier group has performed as equally as well in my AR. My first magazine through the gun was a mixed bag of ball, frangible and soft point ammunition, all types cycled through very well. I then took it through a full day of carbine training without a drop of oil. This is the best solution to the lubrication problem that I have seen. During tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan we were constantly battling gunk build up. I wish that my weapons had this technology then.
